To uplift
the educationally, socially and economically backward wome students
-

of
a Nation
As Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru Said “You can tell the condition
of a Nation by looking at the sattus of its wome”,
our institution emphasises education on moral, social and
cultural ideals. The mission of the institution
is to achieve gender parity through women education and
thereby creating a society in which the women become
respectable,
self reliant and self-sufficient. The College is situated
at Sirudhur Village, New Natham Road in a vast area of
15 acres donated by E.M.G.
Charitable
Trust in 1980 and is managed by E.M. Gopalakrishna Kone
Yadhavar Mahalir Kalloori
(Women’s College) Association, Madurai. It is far
from the madding crowd of the city.
